A note for anyone touring in a band that AAA is a golden tool. Signing up for the plus plan is the only way to go and it's only around $80/year. If you are 100 miles from home and break down, they will reimburse you up to $1,000 PER INSTANCE for your meals, lodging, and even a rental car. Save those receipts. After 72 hours enrolled they will tow your car up to 100 miles free of charge and they waive all initial fees that come with towing. There is also locksmith protection up to $100 and many more discounts to be had.
Truthdealer recently broke down twice on tour and I can safely say that they saved us at least $800 if not more. If you don't have it, GET IT!
