We're busting out our first releases of 2010 this week - The CATBURGLARS debut LP is here and we're including a FREE CD with every order while supplies last. For those not familiar with either of this bands first two records they're from Chicago and play a raunchy Dictators-style brand of straight up frat-punk. Useless Children from Australia will be touring right after the DNA fest with an east coast/south and midwest for pretty much the entire month of April. Drugula and I are working on the routing now. If anyone's into booking them please get in touch at criminaliq@hotmail.com - there's a raging single coming out on Criminal IQ prior to the tour.

We here at Criminal IQ (ie. me and my imaginary friends) are getting ready to unleash our first batch of releases of 2010 which will be an almightly debut LP by Chicago's own CATBURGLARS, a great new single by the YOUNG GUVNOR, and the melted savagery of the debut CLAW TOE 7" - we thought these would be ready January but officially it'll be next month so look out for them.
In Mar/April we got a great dirgey mess of a 7" by Australia's USELESS CHILDREN (who also tour in April starting at the DNA fest in Philly - holler if you wanna book them btw East Coast midwest and south only (Drugula's driving apparently)) HOLY SHIT!'s new 10" slayer called KBD OOP and a full length by Cleveland nuts the McSHITZ which I promise you will be a ridiculous listen. HOLY SHIT! will tour Japan in May and Europe this October watch out for those guys.
May will see a brand new album by M.O.T.O. called Wop Salad and the crushing debut LP by Milwlaukee's TRUTHDELAER. There may be a few surprises before summers out, mostly of the 7" variety. More on those later. M.O.T.O. tour Europe in April, Japan in Jun, and The US sometime after that.

I'd been sitting on the covers for these for a while and after much fussing about and co-ordination between the band, plant and us got the record press for the last time. this will be the final pressing of 500 copies and then they're gone for good. up on the site are copies of the new Holy Shit! 3 wayer with Bored Straight and the rather excellent Nordic Waste. Great record - look for the new Holy Shit! 10" coming soon. School Jerks 7" and other great titles on Riff Raff are back in stock.

Upcoming Shows/Tours/Events / Elgin, IL next week

I'm gonna start doing sum shos out in Elgin, IL at a club calld gasthaus - It's alright.
We start out next week on a wednesday night (18 Nov) with the Heiz from tokyo driven in by drugula and his horrorvan, VEE DEE, Al Scorch and the Horrids - next month on dec 13 The School Jerks from toronto will play there also. These are 18+ shows.
Elgin's about 40-50 miles west of chicago - it makes a nice stop if you're going thru and don't want to spend a lot in gas money - crowds there have been pretty appreciative. They like Bear Proof Suit which is good.
If anyone interested in playing out there get in touch at criminaliq @ hotmail and maybe we can set something up - we'll proabably tape you for my public access show too, so there's also that to consider.
I only want to do one or two shows a month.
I'm not sure whether or not to book the faggy stuff that some are listenin too cos they won't let us play their parties and we have no access to their women. So if you are a fag, or iof you like to "twitter", or are in a band that plays faggy shit that is nowhere near how the kinks or stones meant it to be you will probvably have to kiss my arse a bit to get in (don't be annoying though).
