There are some boys in Berwyn said they could take another band on the 29th if still needed.  Horse drawn Productions studio/house.  Berwyn is right outside Chicago.  Would be decent for the Plates.  let me know.

Great Last day of the season.  A bit sorry to see Blackpool go - I would have loved Blackburn to go in their place.  Happy to see Brum gone and wolves stay up.  Brum are an absolutely dire team.  They should have had Ferguson, Ridgewell and gardner sent off today for bad fouls and diving.  Good riddance to that load of shit. (Thanks for beating the ar5en1l in the cup final tho lads!)l

We are in for that Chicago show dave.  Jimmy Hollywood and Srini are deejaying too.

Insanely under-attended show in Chicago last nite for this insanely great band. Go see 'em!

In fairness, It didn't help that it was the only show at the Bottle that week that had a cover charge.  The Empty Bottle has been following a policy of doing mainly free shows these days and paying the bands out of the bar proceeds.  It wasn't a great bit of business to suddenly charge an $8 cover for a thursday night show.

They were great and way more keyboard driven this time out.  More of a Lost Sounds influence coming to the fore but still with that manic signature Cola Freaks twitchiness.  Haven't listened to the LP yet but am excited to put it on.

Fuck off pikey's. I seriously hope we don't start raiding them for players but it seems like it would be Harry's style.

I'm rooting for Forest to come up via the play offs.  QPR, Norwich and Forest would be like a return to the 80's again.

plenty of gig posters from the 70's and 80's which were pretty cool.

And you didn't buy these?  Why?

It's a space issue.  Besides I should rephrase that "cool" statement to read, a Killing Joke - out of order poster (That was cool) and the rest were of bands like KMFDM and My life with the Thrill Kill Cult.  The 70's stuff in there was part of a collection of press clipping dating back to the early 70's and covered the glam movement with Bowie and Roxy et al.  It was kinda cool to check it out but I don't really have the room for all that shit.

Refused entry. Are we talking about what happened yet, or are the authorities monitoring TB?

What the fuck did happen?

Scum fans having a protest march before the Villa game because Wenger hasn't delivered on promises he made before they moved to the Effeninates, according to a scummer on talksport.

yeah, heard all about the Black Scarf movement.  Kinda lame, but people get angry.  Such is life.

Sure Wenger's a stubborn fucker when it comes to players but He's the manager that turned the arse nto a team playing attractive football that consistently makes the CL and he's done it just about single handedly.  He doesn't even spend that much.  I don't see what they're moaning about.

Loads of Spurs fans now want Harry out too.  Football fans today are fucking pathetic!

This one's just a few minutes up the road from my house but I'll do my bit for the enviroment and say that there are almost no records at all so don't waste your gas. Some old fart that could hardly walk was making out with a crate load of Search and Destroy magazines when I got there and there was plenty of gig posters from the 70's and 80's  which were pretty cool.  I grabbed a bunch of art supplies and old life magazines for collage projects but that was about all that was of interest.
