I think they have outdoor smoking areas but for sure no ins and outs. And I heard that all arenas this year have more security with metal detectors, but haven't been to a game yet to experience it myself.

I'm going to a Canucks game I  a week and a bit. Not a hockey fan, and only a casual sports fan in general, but looking forward to it. I realized I've never seen a live hockey game. Tickets cost 1/2 of why they did last year, I suppose because the 'nucks suck? Gotta figure a way to get some booze in there.

What game? I bet you'll love it! Hopefully they actually win, which they haven't been doing much of lately. They'll search through bags and give a brief pat down on the way in. Don't think any liquids are allowed inside though, even if sealed.

This looks cool. That Cease & Desist 2xLP that came out recently is also great. Lots of good stuff on that one that I'd never heard before.

They played Vancouver for the first time in May 2007 (Damien was on guitar then too) with Cheveu and it was for sure one of the better shows I've seen in my life.

The Rondelles - The Fox LP - Played this a few weeks ago and couldn't believe how well it held up. Great LP.

Also, FM Knives rule.

I'm curious to hear this one. Would be up for a re-issue of the 7" too.

Writeup/interview from Noisey - http://noisey.vice.com/en_au/blog/get-muzzled-with-meercaz--the-visions

Also forgot to mention that due to the weak CDN dollar, I've dropped shipping prices across the board.

Cool stuff. Seems like a German equivalent of Rock in Reykjavik. And, yeah, same here. I'd seen a few of those before but never knew where they came from and this is higher quality. That Brausepoter song is so great.

For wholesale, both Revolver and Carrot Top will be getting some.

Got a new LP out on Sweet Rot. I'll be shipping out all US orders from Seattle on Sat. Nov. 28th, so please get your orders in by the 27th. After that all copies will ship from Vancouver which will increase the shipping cost significantly. Canadian and overseas orders are ready to ship now from Vancouver.

SRR-40 MEERCAZ & THE VISIONS "Get Muzzled" LP
Sweet Rot is back with the 2nd full length from one of America's most under-rated bands. Meercaz is the brainchild of Oakland's Muslim Delgado who has released a handful of proto-punk gems over the years on labels as diverse as Gulcher, Night People, and Tic Tac Totally (plus a quite fine single on Sweet Rot if you don't mind me saying so). This time Muzz has kept the thug-punk Gizmos/Twinkeyz-esque foundation of past Meercaz releases but upped the glam and pop factors a fair bit to come up with a set of 11 songs that'll please fans of bands like The Hammersmith Gorillas and Coloured Balls and we couldn't be happier with the results. Songs like "Hey Mover", "Linda Lee", "Kate Actually" and "Wild With Me" are total hits and are by far the catchiest songs the band has written to date. Muzz is joined on these recordings by Terry Six (Exploding Hearts) on drums. Absolutely killer cover art courtesy of Mac Blackout. Download code included.

http://ottawacitizen.com/news/politics/liberal-tax-hike-on-high-income-earners-could-affect-star-athletes-signing-with-canadian-teams

Best part: "For NHL players considering playing in Toronto, establishing U.S. residency can be easier because the Leafs tend not to make playoffs, allowing players to get back to the U.S. in April. U.S. residency is harder to maintain for players with the Canadiens, whose season is more likely to be extended by playoffs."
