Pyramid Club - Cyclic Obsession 12" - Sicklic
Les Rallizes Denudes - France demo tapes LP - Sounds like LRD, dunno how "demo" really figures into it but then I know nothing
Una Bestia Incontrolable - Metamorfosi LP - Ditch the production, go back to the source. First LP is way better (fight me Nick)
Belgrado - Obraz LP - Sick record. Counterpoint is overrated, dub is tight. Wish the chorus-pedalers in my neck of the woods would take note.
Shoes - One in Versailles LP - better than everything that came after.
Nico - Marble Index LP - late to the game as usual. Apocalyptic reckonings abound and this record feels very focused. Old dudes school me now.
Paranoid - Satyagraha LP/12"? - Cover of the Month doesn't live up to the hype, and the more metallic 7" blows (you know there are legitimate metal bands in Scandinavia, right?) but holy fuck I have listened to this record on my commute for nigh 4 months now and I have run over 4 already-dead squirrels solely out of spite
CAN - Singles thingy - fuckin cool.
Kriegshog - General 7" - the plane takes off but never lands. brutal snare.

The Paranoid - Cover of the Month 12" reminded of the Rancid / NOFX BYO split. Someone rescue me from the upside-down plz.

There was talks of a Cops LP for awhile, but they haven't played in years. Jesse opened a restaurant which is pretty demanding of his time. However there is a new band called Hyena with (Gentlemen) Jesse and most of Bukakke Boys...more along the lines of them and Mercenary. should have some of their demos soon (coming out on Scavenger Of Death).

The COPS 12" would have likely been a disappointment. Our songs were long, slow, and wanky.

GG King has a 7" coming out which I think is really cool. That guy ages with so much grace. He's also supposed to sing on about half the tracks for the Ryan Dinosaur lp, which after 30 tracks and six years will finally be complete. Whether it will be anything other than insufferable is another matter.

What is the deal with the hate for cranefortune? Will donate to a gofundme that provides Velcro with a hugging apparatus.

Bands need names: Hotlanta bands don't need much more than a syllable or two. Lemme help- Glance, Paddle, Diddle, Fuddle, Prance, Pulse, Purse, Rife, Stool...
