Nurse 7" is out now!
https://scavengerofdeathrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ep-2
4 Songs of hardcore.

Also have some Predator shirts & tapes I made of new Predator, GG King, & Ryan Dinosaur tracks. The tapes I have with me at the upcoming GG KING and PREDATOR shows are the same except they are missing the Ryan Dino tracks (no one seems to mind). Finally I threw a few distro items in there - Poison Rites demo & Beta Boys 7".

Buy here

I'm gonna be on the road from June 6 til July 12, so order by next weekend if you want anything. I'll also have all this stuff a HORRIBLE FEST and the TOTAL FUCK OFF.

Whoa, BLACKBALL is pretty raging.

I'd also like to note that the new slang usage of "lowkey" (not in the above case) and my vitriol at its improper utilization is the first time that I've actually felt old as fuck in my life

I hate it when my friends (not you obvies) use the same slang as my students. Can't explain it, it makes my innermost being groan with shame.

Interesting, because "obvies" is my pet peeve. More so than "lowkey."

Haha I slick did that on purpose, obvies. I lowkey love to use that term, tho.

Been listening to the Autarx demo, Predator tracks, and GG King track that I am mixing. Autarx stuff is cool, I really like it when they have an Adolescents vibe. Looking forward to seeing them at Total Punk Fest.

I have been watching the GISM and Death Side videos -- both are pretty entertaining -- I keep getting mesmerized by the stuff playing on the projector during GISM's set.

Music Shit / Re: Fantasy Hardcore...or whatever.

I was hoping this thread was about fantasy-themed hardcore bands.

Here is my fantasy lineup for a fantasy-themed hardcore band.
The band is called Goblin Town
They only released a demo titled "A Bad Day in Goblin Town"

Drummer from Impalers
Bassist from Rancid
Guitarist from Blasfemia
Ishiya from Forward/Death Side would make a great Great Goblin

Standing in the Light by GG King has an ominous church bell and a thunder-clap going off at the same time.

Wymyns Prysyn "Cemetery Earth" has sounds from a nuclear explosion worked into it.

If only we could hear the sun.

Breaking glass and insane laughter are like salt and pepper to punk records for me. Sirens and helicopters noises are like clove and paprika.

Total Eclipse of The Heart. Or maybe it's the bombastic 80s production that makes the drums sound like explosions?

About halfway through Kate Bush's Running up that Hill there is a similar situation. I'm pretty sure there is an explosion sound that is mixed in with the toms. Cool effect.

There's a CAN song on Tago Mago that starts with an explosion.

Non-Music Shit / Re: Lost packages

I lost 60 gary wrong lps shipped USPS. They called me to tell me they had found a "wrapper" in Memphis. I had used tons of tape on the endicia postage form, making sure the tape went around the entire box, disheartening to know that it did nothing.

I filled out a bunch of paperwork, visited the Post Office and the office for lost packages in ATL, nothing. Having a lot of trouble with the insurance claim, too.
