Mission of Burma is featured this month with a killer version of the instrumental ?Tremelo?. The live video was filmed at the Underground Club in Boston, 1980. MOB opened up for The Cure that night on the second stop of the first Cure American tour.

The Cure played just two locations on their first US Tour in 1980 before returning to England. NYC @ Hurrah?s and the next night Boston @ The Underground Club. The single ?A Forest? had just been released in England and performed live for the first time in the US.

In the late 70?s La Peste ruled Boston as one of the most dynamic and creative punk bands. The power punk trio packed them in and was best known for their song ?Better Off Dead?. John Peel the famous English DJ who kept a battered wooden box with his precious selection of 7-inch singles that meant more to him then any others did. In that box was La Peste?s ?Better Off Dead?
