I'd second the suggestion that you should make sure this isn't someone's beloved family pet before you get attached. Cats aren't usually friendly and lovable unless someone taught them how to be that way. Put up a I FOUND A CAT flyer around town; don't give out any details about what the animal is like, but offer to give it up to whoever can call in and properly describe him/her.

I burned my eyebrows off once lighting up a bunch of that coffee creamer stuff. Sprinkle a light but steady amount on an open flame just right and you'll create a small dust explosion and a huge fireball. Good times.

Yeah, I went to the very same School Forest that you apparently did. I was at Franklin; what school were you in?
Well into adulthood I assumed that everyone in every school district in the United States had a School Forest (or geographically appropriate equivalent - School Desert, School Swamp, School Scrapyard, etc.) that they were shipped off to for a week to learn the wonders of nature. I'm not a big fan of the great outdoors in general and this did very little to change my feelings on the matter. I guess it was kind of fun to go through the "hunter safety" course, since, to the horror of my liberal parents, it involved getting to shoot ACTUAL GUNS, but I'm not sure that made up for having to walk across 100 yards of frozen wilderness from your cabin to a pit toilet whenever you woke up at night and had to take a piss.
