Probably the most I've even seen a Dutch punk record go for:

weird... that buyer usually restricts himself to mexican and south american hardcore records.

Best record.  Fuck the haters, this is top tier.

I'd still like to see some of the MM and Tar Babies demos issued on vinyl.

The MM side of the tape IS on vinyl on this Demolition vol 2 comp lp that came out sometime last year. Also contains Die Kreuzen and Zero Defex tapes...

screa giving money to shitty european bootleggers. the MM/TB split tape would make a perfect 7" reissue.

I've used Ross Ellis forever for covers- their digital pdf workflow destroys my brain but they are cheaper than anyone else. I don't know if they do less than 1000 covers.

Yes you can get runs of 500, they have a flat rate regardless of how many colors you are printing. I did it through Icon for an LP and it was ~$600 shipped, and I ended up with 600 jackets.

One cool thing for me living in MA is that they ship the jackets freight from Montreal on a truck and it costs like $50 shipping for 1000 jackets.

Never had a problem with Aardvark, and he is far and away the cheapest place to go. $360ish for a 12" including plating, you can barely get a record plated for that much from a pressing plant.

Get labels printed at Hamlett in Nashville, they run about $100 for a set of 1000 12" size and he just walks them down the street if you are pressing at United, so no shipping fee.

Imprint brokers their LP sleeves through Ross Ellis in Montreal, as do Icon Omnimedia in Long Island, who might be a tad bit cheaper.

Also, wether or not the rules are legally enforcable, if you get too many complaints the CC companies can revoke your merchant account. It happened to my old work place when they tried to impose a minimum charge amount, Visa called up and threatened to shut down our merchant account unless we did away with the minimum.

Well normally I don't use them, but the one time I mailed them a money order they lost it (in addition to fucking up my order so colassaly that it made my head spin), so I'm weary of sending them payment through the mail. Hence me using my debit card.

Anyways, back to the card thing... from my experience in retail sales, Mastercard and Visa's merchant rules expressly prohibit anyone who advertises that they accept their cards to charge customers a fee beyond that which someone paying by other means would pay. However, you are allowed to take the route that Erika does where they say that their price list reflects a 3% cash discount.

I asked this on another board in a similar URP fees topic and didn't get a response, so...

Has anyone ever contested the line item 5% credit card surcharge on United's invoices (providing anyone has ever paid them on a debit/credit card)? I just noticed it on two invoices from them, I've had it on the back of my mind to complain to my bank but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I feel like this really IS a way for them to rake you over the coals, since it's against credit card regulations to add fees like that.
