I miss obscuretheinvisibleman

Don't worry, he has a "friend" who bids on stuff and then asks for it to be shipped to erucsbo's address...

I see Mike B. at shows occasionally but he's out of the record game these days. He sold a few things through ryebread a while ago but he hasn't sold anything himself in many years.

so even if I owned every PI record they put out plus everything that any member was ever on(swat lp, that philly hardcore band that had jerry a on a track, hardons record that had jerry a, imperialist pigs, castrated by love, gargoyle, etc) itd still only be like 50 records. Are there really 100 bootlegs out there?

It's just a lot of variations of the same records.

Poison Idea... about 120-130 7"/10"/12". After that, probably Ramones, Motorhead and Iron Maiden.

Anyone ever seen this on green before? The B-side label is blank and the cover is definitely a different print job than the black vinyl version.

So Dangerhouse would have provided the pressing plant with two slightly different label design and would have requested both centerholes for the same batch? Sounds weird to me but why not?!

No that would be unnecessary. The Dils and Avengers center label art was obviously designed around a large hole and was not revised for the small hole pressings, otherwise the stripes would be continuous --

In most cases, 7" records aren't pressed with large holes -- they're punched out when they're trimmed. That's why you get large hole records that are randomly off center when most copies are ok. Nervous Eaters "Just Head" is a good example.

Music Shit / Re: KBD era reissue wish list...

What would be cool would be seeing all the big name early hardcore 7"s come out in the original format, legitimately, and not just collected on LPs, bootlegged or done in inadequate pressings that fall back out of print in weeks. SOA, Misfits, Minor Threat, Teen Idles, DOA, Subhumans, Necros, DC Youth Brigade, The Fix, Meatmen, Toxic Reasons, Government Issue, Crucifix, NOTA, Urban Waste, Battalion Of Saints etc should be readily available as 7"s at reasonable prices.

Urban Waste was done as a legit 7" pressing a year or two ago by Even Worse in Europe. It's pretty much an exact repro aside from the front cover art being silver instead of white.

No Viletones reissue will ever happen. All rights owned by a total piece of shit horder who will not deal with anyone.

Dave from Distortions Records was at WFMU this weekend and handed me a stack of a Viletones 7" he just put out. I didn't have time yet to check it out but he said it's unreleased material. It seemed like a really odd thing for him to put out.

Black rose is kinda eh besides toughest street and do anything you wanna do

I don't know what the eff you're talking about because Black Rose is hit after hit. IMO that and Bad Reputation have the best killer vs filler ratio.

That OGWT video posted above is one of the greatest ever, the shred fest that kicks off around 2:45 blows my mind every time I hear it. Also the first three tracks on Gary Moore's "Back On The Streets" LP are Lizzy-esque butt pounders worth seeking out (though the rest of the LP kinda stinks).

I'll be selling all weekend with my buddy Rob, and Doug Mosurock is splitting a second table with us on Sat/Sun. Should be interesting.
