In case anyone on here cares about what's happening at Landlocked Music on RSD:

Bands:
Spectrals (Slumberland)
Stagnant Pools (Polyvinyl)
Davy Jay Sparrow & his Well-Known Famous Drovers (His own damn self)

DJs: and bunch of people no one on here knows except for Eric of Family Vineyard and John Terrill of the Dancing Cigarettes/Mad Monk/Magnetic South/S. American Psych expert/etc.

Beer: Yes.
Food: Probably.

Also, we're making 100% licensed and LEGIT Gizmos T-shirts. Approved by Gulcher and Dale Lawrence both, they're as legit as can be for a band with such a convoluted history. Red lightning bolt logo (the latter logo) on white shirt, IU colors. We made only 100 of these, but we'll offer them for mailorder after RSD if there are any left.

We'll also probably have some sort of specials/deals/etc but we're still working that out. And we'll have at least some of almost every official RSD title of note.

Is this a joke? or some sort of publicity stunt?

I've met Paul a couple times, always a sweet and awesome dude. And he's really great about working with young and up-and-coming bands. Nothing but respect for him.

This just seems weird. And Peter going off with Paul's band? Makes no sense. This is either a put on or something behind the scenes happened that hasn't come out yet.

I was just talking about this band last night, and their music IS apparently being reissued. Eric from Family Vineyard can correct me if I'm wrong, but what I heard is that some Euro label is doing it and it's going to be an LP box set with a DVD, which is cool...BUT...totally sucks when the only thing in print from a band is an expensive box set. Sets the entry fee pretty high for newcomers.

Trying to deejay colored vinyl sucks. Once you go black....

Regardless of color, this record is great. Well worth the wait. I've had 3-4 songs from it simultaneous stuck in my brain since I first heard it a week ago. Hopefully there's another LP in the can ready to go soonish.
