Keeping this train a rollin' in a continuous effort to bring you some of the finest tunes from around the globe.
BS-029 His Electro Blue Voice - White Wall / Abuser 7"It's been a awhile since the last single from Italy's His Electro Blue Voice came through the Bat Shit office and into the hands of eager listeners around the world. We sure are glad to release the follow up to the Animal Verses single which hit shelves almost 3 years ago! HEBV continue to surprise here by offering up 2 harsh ballads of swirling noise and pulsating rhythms. Did I say ballads? Oops. Each tune allows the listener the liberty of getting lost in an incredible whirlwind of gloomy textures and crushing atmosphere. An excellent follow up to the amazing opening track they supplied for the Sub Pop 1000 comp which if you ask me was the best track on the album. If you hesitated when Animal Verses came out, there has been a special option made to get both White Wall and Animal Verses singles at a mildly reduced cost. This single is an exciting precursor to the sure to be amazing debut full length LP.
Edition of 300 on red and black vinyl.

They've now equipped themselves with a drummer and have laid the drum machine to rest. It's hard not to call their drummer a machine though, because he nails the sound of their previous material with dead-pan accuracy. Both tunes here showcase their dark wit and scathing approach toward touchy issues and harsh realities. No "Boo hoo" mentality applied with their perfect blend of metronomic post-punk and old style Oi! This is an excellent follow up to their previous records and acts as the brother to the new single on Pouet!
Edition of 300 with hand painted covers.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=xgGB-XI9iNcBS-040 The Kurws - Dziura W Getcie LPBat Shit Records is proud to release the debut album from Poland's The Kurws. Previously released in Poland on Trująca Fala / Blinded Records, their debut takes the listener on a wild journey between time and space, jolting between abstract movements of spastic instrumentation and sound manipulation. They've managed to take influences of punk, noise and jazz while twisting it into something completely their own and creating a unique album that is sure to turn heads everywhere. To attach a single genre to it would be to give the album an utter lack of respect. The perfect album to compliment a world where the Dead Kennedys are better off without Jello Biafra and a Glenn Danzig that resembles the late, great Sam Kinison.
Edition of 300 on pink, clear and white vinyl.

Solitary Mutant Series II LPFinally the third act in the Tarantisimo Summit series rears it's ugly head. An excellent follow up continuing in the tradition of the first in the Solitary Mutant Series. Again painstakingly assembled by Christopher Ilth and Bat Shit to create a horrific conceptual beast that allows the artists involved to branch out into exciting new territory. This time all of the musicians involved worked together to create tracks for this bleak masterpiece. Collaborating to achieve what is truly the soundtrack to your nightmares and a sci-fi escape from a faraway prison. John Carpenter and Alan Howarth come to mind. Dario Argento and Goblin might have even found their way in the mix. Conny Plank screwing around with Klaus Schultz? But why bother pegging one distinct sound? That's for the listener to decide for themselves. This time we have another all-star cast of weirdos to supply the sounds that can barely be contained within these grooves.

Gary Wrong (Gary Wrong Group, Wizzard Sleeve, Mangina)
Johnny LZR (Human Eye, Conspiracy of Owls)
Alex NVA (ET Habit, Curtains, Onyx System)
