Yup... it was a lie for some one, who ever, to say the band was "unavailable" because at the time they contacted the booker about it the band most definitely was--and I'd know, seeing as I'm the booker.
As it turned out and long and short of it was, the majority of the student council members involved in organizing the "event" were more preoccupied with having some thing traditionally more popular and along the lines of what your average Pitchfork reader listens to, rather then NoBunny and their ilk.
