Kinda harsh man. I know Beck's shit kinda sucks now but I was into that "Loser" song back in the day and he hung around some friends of mine in Olympia in the 90's. I haven't listened to his stuff in years, but I'm not afraid to say that I liked some of that shit on K Records. I heard he's a weird scientoligist now. He was married to that Giovanni Ribisi guy's sister. Not sure if they're still together but from what I gather everyone who knows him says he's a pretty solid dude. That video for "Lost Cause" off of Sea Change was cool too where he was floating down the sky and all this shit was exploding out of his weird TV screen head. Apparently that song is about Winona Ryder.

seconded on mono. been trying to go there for months and everytime I drive by I try to stop but the traffic is too crazy and there's nowhere to park. Really weird location for a shop. Anyway Wombleton rules if you're looking for something specific and are willing to spend the cash. They have shit there I've never seen before but the prices reflect it. Really rad punk shit too, but it's all original pressings, foreign pressings etc...if you sign up for the newsletter they have sales and events whenever they get back from a big haul.

Jacknife in Atwater- way overpriced kiss, thin lizzy etc..."uhh these are all a dollar at Amoeba sir" "Get out of my store!" looks like this guy is starting to sell his furniture etc.. in the store now. only a matter of time.

I been to Burger and it's cool. Been to a few cool ones in Long Beach and San Diego. There's cool stores in Ventura and Oxnard as well. But in the city of LA those 3 are the only ones worth going to. I guess you could bother with Atomic. The Pasadena Community College does a swap meet once a month that has tons of record dealers etc...also the Rose Bowl once a month is one of the biggest swap meets in the world and they have records too. You can find shit about both online.
