i couldn't go through its entire 14-hour run, but i'm convinced Ergo Phizmiz's The Faust Circle is tremendous. a review here:

http://www.headphonica.com/?p=816 i second that new Nothing People and Eat Skull's 'Jerusalem Mall' are superb. yeah Sightings are the best Rock 'n' Roll band on earth (too sad, i can't see them live). Alan Licht & Loren Connors' Into The Night Sky' was so engaging and Jailbreak's 'The Rocker' made my year. Golden Triangle's debut full-length is gorgeous and it's a definite grower though i know it's not termbo-wise to say so. Happy Birthday's S/T would be my most-visited pop album of the moment. if you're remotely interested in high-end electro-acoustic stuffs, Activity Center's 'Lohn & Brot' will serve you well. and I'm looking foward to new Dan Higgs on thrill jockey. btw, i don't get all the craze over ECSR on termbo. i happened to see their gig when i was in sydney and i didn't have any idea about their legendary status there. local kids went bananas, but for my part, it's just ok and rather fun..well.. the front dude's shtick was quite impressive. but i don't care for their records. and honestly i enjoyed a seemingly less accepted opening band who sounded like Rocket From The Crypt more.
