saw LR a bunch of times.  he is consistent, and turned all his classics into choruses.  he still hoots and hollers it up, but doesnt waste his breath singing very many verses, most of them are saxaphone solos now.  still, he looks great, healthy and its awesome seeing him, like a cartoon character come to life.  top notch band.

when i saw little richard, they had to wheel him out on stage in a wheelchair, then lift him and kinda set him on his piano bench. the whole time he was swatting the dudes picking him up and cursing at them.

seeing little richard recently was pretty awkward. he would say things and no one knew whether to laugh or not because it was hard to tell if he was making a joke or just crazy. he seemed really crazy, though.

i think dudes let their anger build up all year long here in cleveland, then come let it all out during horriblefest.

i had fun seeing friends and watching good bands, but sometimes people just don't know when to quit. there is a difference between going to a show and having fun, and getting drunk and hurting people without giving a fuck. i can't stand that shit.

saturday nite during the tko's some kid grabbed a hold of the rafters and swung from the back of the room up to the front, kicking everyone in the audience in the head on his way up. when a group of dudes much bigger than him pulled him off and started yelling at him, he was all, "what? i didn't do anything!" and tried to fight them. even as he was getting kicked out, he was still insisting he didn't do anything wrong even though i watched him kick a line of people in the head with his fucking nikes.

thanks for all the extra help, ethan. couldn't have done it without you!
