Fire did those TVPs and Spacemen 3 reissues recently. They do nice work. I can't imagine anyone in the world wants any of the 1/2Jap records past We Are They Who Ache... (that's a nice comp, by the way).
I've got all the ones I need 'cept for Sing No Evil, which I look forward to "snagging." Sing No Evil's real good -- it's like 1/2 Japanese's big-band Stones record, or something like that.
Who/what is Fire records? I just bought the Pastels reissue they did.
"Fire Records is an independent record label in London, England. The label was founded by Clive Solomon in 1986 and is currently run by James Nicholls."

I guess the US reissue of Half Gentlemen/Not Beast is going to be on feeding tube.
I'm not sure about the entire catalog, but I'm delighted to see the first three getting a vinyl reissue.

The "Fan Club" label release from France? (from the mid/late '80s?) Classic!

Am I the only one who doesn't care for this band?
you're not alone. I tried to like 'em.
Yeah, I've tried too multiple times to no avail. Some good songs, but I just can't get past the vocals. Sounds like Choke but more silly. I even like a little Slapshot here and there, but I just keep thinking how much more I'd like it with a different singer.
