Not worried about it. I'm sure there would be like 4 or more of us going. I was just worried I was gonna have to pay $10 to get into Mopery. After paying $7 to see Birthday Suits last night, my ass is slightly chapped. Thanks for the info ya'll. --eric

Yeah, I think he moved back to El Paso actually, but there's actually cool people in Las Cruces so I understand that he spends more time there. He is in that Shang-a-Lang band now, and will be in MKE on August 8th. Mark your calendar for a show you'll probably hate. --eric

Obviously we don't have much events planned for Oct./Nov. yet, but if you are here around Halloween 1/2 of Holy Shit! + Sticks'n'Stones is doing the Sweet for the annual cover show. We did Alice Cooper last year. It was dope.

Also, if you let Claire take you around the great state of Wiscons, don't go to Manitowoc. It's a fucking waste of time. I would even argue that the whole Appleton area is, too. Especially for a traveler from the Big City.

You probably don't really need more than 2 days for the whole state actually, depending on how long you are going to be gone overall. We could keep you occupied for 4 probably before your brain turns to mush and we eat you alive.

is there anywhere cooler to go between LA and TX than Phoenix?

Nah, not really. I've driven it and lived in Tucson for a couple years.  New Mexico has bar none the most desolate highway system in the country and I saw a couple bands in Tucson but for the most part we'd drive to Phoenix for shows.

I wanted to read this whole thread before chiming in, but I couldn't help it. LAS CRUCES, NM is pretty fucking awesome. It's basically a college town, but if there's a show happening while you're in the area it's worth the stop. You gotta experience some of the SW US desert town feel. Also, Joe Ayoub lives there now and Shang-a-Lang is really good live.

Surprise! Show moved again. It's at the Ground Zero house now. Same bands. No Dear Astronaut, I'll ask Truthdealer again. Thursdays aren't too bad around these parts. It will be an earlier show now, probably have to start at 6:30 or 7 to get done on time. Word, --eric

PS I don't have your numbers anymore, can you text me if you have mine or just send it over in a PM?

Thanks yo. Claire, I'll decide at some point next week. Sometimes you just gotta rage Chicago-style. How much does a mopery show cost on top of the gas money I'll already have to spend? Word, --eric

Fuck Yeah man! We've never really known anyone from St. Louis so we've never played there... kinda how it goes I guess. Plus Ray in Carbondale lived here for a couple years so wes tight. I hope Sea of Shit is still playing, I just wish it would have been promoted that way... I think they have some fans here. See you in a week! --eric

Ok, your show here is at The Vault, and it's with The International Date Lines and Bloody Flux. Shows here are early, don't be later than 7. Word, --eric

Who is Sea of Shit? I had no idea they were playing in MKE. Actually, I'm not sure if anyone here knows that they are playing.

Also, who wrote that tape review? How the fuck did they come up with two completely obscure Missoula, MT bands? Did Venal IV even tour? What the fuck?!

Anyway, Holy Shit! looks forward to seeing you guys in a week. Prepare to blow us off the "stage". We haven't played together since Japan. --eric

If it is raining on July 28th, the show will be at the Ground Zero house. Just so you know that there is a backup plan! Looks like it will be Holy Shit! playing rather than Uh-Oh. Elephant Walk is breaking up, I guess. --eric
