My elementary school tried to send me to the alternative school so they wouldn't have to deal with me and the fact that I didn't quite fit in right with the rest of my second grade class.

I definitely understand why some of you feel the way you do about medication.  A lot of people do just have drugs thrown at them.  But some of the rest of us have a hard time functioning on a daily basis without it.

Yeah, I was put on a bunch of different things between age 13 and 15, but none of them worked for me.  Then the doctors figured out that it wasn't depression, just undiagnosed A.D.D.

However, I've met people who have done really well with stuff that made my life a living hell.  So a lot of it really has to do with your body's personal reactions to stuff.

I'm not as familiar with that one, but with most I've found that waiting it out a little longer or changing the time of day you take it (if possible) can help.  Otherwise, ask to be put on something else.
