That's funny, I'm watching Stella on TV right now...Great show, wish it would get renewed for another season...but I guess Comedy Central needs more room for Mind Of Mencia and Mad TV and other unfunny fare.

When this video footage was first released in '99 I was floored. Atari Teenage Riot plays live on a semi trailer being pulled through a riot as kids punch cops in the face and cops beat kids with sticks. You can hear the band chanting "REVOLUTION ACTION!" "FIGHT BACK!" and "FUCK THE POLICE!" and see kids chasing retreating cops down the street. It's fucking brutal!

Saw this over on the punknews.org.....I'm always iffy when old bands get back together...double if the band decides to make more records. We'll see, I guess....

"Influential early Australian punk act Radio Birdman are currently in the process of recording a new album. The band expects the record to be out by July 2006.

While the band's original run lasted from 1974 to 1978, the full line up of Radio Birdman reunited for the Big Day Out festivals in `96 and `97. This reunion resulted in the live record Ritualism. In 2001 their profile in the US rose with the Sub Pop released compilation The Essential Radio Birdman: 1974-1978. The band's line up has shifted since the reunion, so the new record will be the current incarnation's first major recording.

This month Radio Birdman is touring throughout Australia, with European and US tours planned for September and October of this year. Click below for the dates. "

I like driving, but I don't have a working car, and I don't forsee having one in the near future. I do have a '61 Corvair, but I took the engine apart when I was 13, and never put it back together...and now some of the parts are missing. But yeah, driving is one of my favorite things to do, and anytime I'm riding to a show with someone (always quite a drive from where I live), I ask if I can drive their car. I also get carsick sometimes when I'm not behind the wheel.

A friend of mine went out with a girl who's dad was a meth dealer. He named his daughter Crystal Brewer.

Fuck, my name is Ben Lyon. Get it? Been Lyin'. That's caused me a fair share of trouble. In high school, I had a couple of parents hang up on me when They asked who was calling. I got written up by a substitute teacher for being a smart alek when she asked my name once. I also had a run in with a cop when I was 15 that was definatly made worse when he asked my name.

My girlfriend's last name is Cumming.

My girlfriend's mom is a social worker. She told us that this year's trendy welfare baby name is Nevaeh....get it? Heaven backwards. Her sister is a math teacher in a ghetto high school in Columbus, Ohio. She told us she had twin boys in one class named Orangejello and Lemonjello!

I knew a guy in high school named Harley Davidson, his parents were bikers. He brought a gun to school and blew his head off in front of a bunch of people.
