"rock me amadeus" is ridiculous, but without it there's no "dr. zeus, dr. zeus."  so *i* personally let it slide as i never hear it anymore.

So only ONE mention of Toby Keith???  How bout "How Do You Like Me Now?"  FUCK, even "We Built This City" (which is undeniable shit to understate it) doesn't make me really want to kill.  Literally, if I have a gun when any Toby Keith song comes on, deaths will abound.  That "Talk About Me" song is just as bad.  I still haven't heard "If I Was Jesus."

And again, "We Built This City" is SHIT, but I'd rather listen to that song than fuckin' "Indian Reservation" by Paul Revere & The Raiders.

I think anyone listing Eagles songs is wasting their time here, because there are no good Eagles songs and the only band that makes me angrier than the Eagles is Fugazi.

I also second "Life Is A Highway" even though I met that guy's daughter and she and her friend were mighty cute.  Oh wait, that doesn't make a difference.

Oh shit, another song no one's mentioned (and maybe for the same reasons I said no one should be listing Eagles' songs) is "I Will Survive."  This song is not good, so bad it's good, funny, kitsch or camp.  Fuck it.  It's unworthy of existence.

hey Officer Brad, is that the happy schnapps combo?

Worst band i ever saw was the promise ring, followed closely by hum and the other two bands that played that show.

I have officially been pushed over the fence and aside from kitty litter (because the cheapest stuff there is the best stuff I've used) I will no longer shop there.  I'm awesome aren't I?  But seriously, never again.

To say that a story sucks because nobody gets killed is like saying that the Godfather rules because there's a part where a guy wakes up in bed with a decapatated horse head.
Or like saying one evalutes tv shows "if there are female characters I want to throw it in."

I'm not Richard Adventure, but it was pointed out to me by someone with more free time than I have that those episodes were not originally "Saved By The Bell" but a series entitled "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" which was then reworked into "Saved By The Bell."  The Bliss episodes were then edited as Bell episodes for syndication.  Which is why if you purchase the Bell DVDs these episodes are not included.  Fuckin' eh, I need something else to do.

Richard Adventure, what's your take on me finding a tape of my first real band (freshman year - 1992) in our first incarnation with a lead singer who fucking sucked in a way I can't describe properly (off key is barley a good start), doing "Under The Bridge"?

Even though I haven't seen too much of it, I have to give it up as the kids say for Curb Your Enthusiasm -- I'm in tears every time I see it, although like I said that isn't too often (no cable, not a lot of money for $40 DVD box sets).  Nevertheless, Trailer Park Boys is the best show to hit the airwaves since Get A Life.

So Tom got thrown out before the Didjits played?  Or was he raging on something and just missed them?

The Simpsons has never been total shit ever, not in the earliest seasons that I don't watch anymore and not in the last four or so seasons that haven't all been knockouts.  There have always been peaks and valleys in time the Simpsons has been on the air (this is the 18th season, correct?) and I'd say the last time I saw a string of truly brilliant episodes was the 2000-1 season (maybe the 2001-2 too, but for sure 2000-1)  The show isn't that bad, it's just not as good as often.  How 'bout this: in a night of television that includes Family Guy II (or American Dad as the call it), Family Guy and The War At Home, you're gonna single out the Simpsons for not entertaining you enough for 5 of the past 18 years?

COMIC BOOK GUY
Last night's Itchy & Scratchy was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever! Rest assured that I was on the Internet within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world.

BART
Hey, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you have to complain?

COMIC BOOK GUY
As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.

BART
What? They're giving you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. What could they possibly owe you? I mean, If anything, you owe them.

COMIC BOOK GUY
(pause) Worst episode ever.

The first thing I thought of was the 1st Damned album, but then I thought if the Pagans' "Shit Street" counts, I'll go with that one.
