Are you two gonna fuck?

I'm too old for this shit, plus I prefer subtlety. Still, I don't mind jacking off in someone's face and just giving them a look like, "Well, what did you expect?"

Look for details in the next Something Somethingdom.

CHuck Eddy is a fuckin dumb-ass. Don't take anything he writes to heart. Ditto for Christgau.

Scott, what's yr take on a me and Vint meeting? Do you think there will be enough drugs? Do you think there will be enough teenage trim? Do you think he's gonna flip out and try to stab me when I say something really funny that he misconstrues? Do you think it will be fun, or just a drag like everything else?

It's the kinda thing that grows on you. Like "Man With the Golden Helmet" is a really good song, piano and all. Sure, Saints, X, Victims, etc. are all better, but that doesn't mean Radio Birdman suck. But I, too, admit to being disappointed with 'Radios Appear' when I got it.

ANd the 2nd X LP is nothing to sneeze at. And I also love "Coat of Green." Really want to cover that.

Yeah, I've got that. And 'ZZZZZ'. Good shit. The last couple haven't been too hot. Last one was a pale imitation of the 'Revenge' era. OK, but not skull-crushing, soul-destroying, etc. like they were at their best.

The best Luttenbachers stuff is the older shit, but I'm also partial to the "free jazz" line-up (fucked up kit, contrabass, sax) that put out some more limited LPs. You can probably find "the truth is a fucking lie..." though.

Albert Fish takes some cakes for sure. Ever see that Joe Coleman painting with him?

I know you've stated yr opinions, I was looking for some more contrasting, but I know you're a busy man.

Stickmen were an amazing "punk/funk" (agh) band from Philly, early 80s. Almost better than the Contortions and certainly spazzier. Really nutzoid head-turning tongue-twisting No Wave funk freak-out. I love 'em. Most everything re-released by Reccomended a few years ago. I think you would love, if they don't give you a heartattack.

Stickdog were a mid-late 80s pigfuckin band from Iowa or Idaho. Pretty alright at it too.

That 'Love's A Real Thing' comp has some sweet shit on it.

Scott, please contrast and compare: X, X, and X-X. And, seperately, Stickmen, Stickmen With Rayguns, and Stickdog.

 Thank you.

Lawrence, Kansas

Burroughs wrote some lyrics for 'em

name snatched from Marvel Comics

pretty good heartland post-whatever; splits difference between Replacements and Squirrel Bait? Ah, maybe.

Nerds.

Covered Stooges.

Homestead for most.

Haha, I actually remember "Austin Stories"...what year was that?

I wanna say 98. They only made about 6 or 8 episodes but it was fucking awesome. Kinda like if SLacker was a sitcom, but better than that makes it sound.
