Hey all,
The Wrists "Freak of Natures" ep is finished and ready for mass consumption.
It's four songs:
A1 Hate Crimes
A2 Livin in the Eyeball
B1 Gon' Freakout
B2 Final Few
There are considerably more copies on black wax than white, but all the inner sleeves are handstamped, covers handscreened, and come with one of three different "lo-fi" inserts.
The Wrists achieve their patented "texas eyeball hate" sound with two bass players, a drummer, and a keyboard (none other than super-soulseek-sharer paulhasaknife), and their songs manage to be both catchy and pummeling at the same time. The records are $5 ppd in the U.S. $6 in Canada and $7 in the rest of the world. I have wholesale rates for copies of five or more and I'm always down to trade.

it's been my experience that it's much easier for girls to sneak booze than guys. tuck it into the front of your pants and you should be fine. unless you're taking a half gallon or something like that...then put crowbar in a stroller and have him lay on top of it

i agree. Shattered is a label whose releases are good enough that even if i can't afford to pick it up right away, i eventually will (and have the chance). somebody's buying them as can be seen by the multiple pressings. AND, they're distributed by Revolver, right?

uh...what if you can only afford to do 300 copies? and what if you like the idea of your product being unique in some way, in regards to different sleeves, etc. especially when you're the one screenprinting them with house paint in a backyard. i think of that as being the label's contribution to the art.
at the same time, i realize that if i miss out on a record it's not the end of the world and i would hope that people trying to get stuff from my labels would do the same.
