So, how about that song, "The First of the Gang to Die," fellow Morrissey Forums travelers?  They say he has a big following among cholos, but I still find that hard to believe.

If you live in Chicago, you'd he shock by the mexican following. Young and old. LA is even bigger. I see these 14 old year olds walking around with Kill Uncle or Viva Hate t-shirts, with the moz hair and creepers. Or pack of mexican emo looking teen guys and girls. At lest one was a Moz or Smiths shirt on. I've seen few older folks with Moz tattoos.

I never understood why.

Slowdive - Souvlaki & Pygmalion

I'm feelin' this.  Souvlaki was reissued recently as a double LP, but I took a peek at the Discogs page for Pygamlion and gulped.  =GULP!=  Like that.  Would gladly pay $40 for a second-hand copy, but that's not happening, it seems.

I think I'm to ready part with Pygamlion. I could never get into it, boring stuff even by my taste. All Slowdive LPs are getting reissued. I also was happy to see Ride's Nowhere too

The Clean, somebody was asking about reissues earlier. I spoke to Flying Nun, some reissues are coming out next year on vinyl.

There been peak and valleys though my life with music. Stuff is just as good now but different than the past.

But I will say, I'm glad did get to see tail end of hardcore. Yes, I did see Black Flag, not as good as I hope it would be.  Knowing that, always made me feel OK with other stuff I missed.

Also, doesn't every band reunite anyway. This I'm on the fence on.

yeah, she opposes the democrats and high taxes, what a crazy old broad!  news flash: obama is spending billions of tax dollars every month fighting unwinnable wars in the middle east.  the democrats and republicans might as well be twins.  both serve the corporate elite and not the people.

Try looking up Charles and David Koch, 3rd richest in America and their role in the bank rolling of the tea party.

All 3 groups are tools

In a worl which is topsy-turvy the true is a moment of false.

Is AFCGT post post-rock?

np:  flying saucer attack - s/t - not sure how i am just now getting around to hearing this.  this is pretty much exactly up my alley for autumn listening.  huge guitar scree, pulsing bass, distant vocals, beautiful cover art.  a termbo-acquired bargain at $12.

Sorry you beat me to it!  New Lands was their peak, I think.

sad I didn't get that too, one of my top wants
