Hailing from Gnarlins, Dead People were born on the bayou in the dusk of 2010 when members of N? Orleans? like only two not older-dudes-who-still-rock-the-fuck-out-but-you-know-they?ve-maybe-done-this-too-many-times garage-rock bands, The Bellys and The Dives, joined forces. Within a week they debuted their dual-guitar, dual-vox, dual songwriting duel at the Big Sleazy?s Saturn Bar. Since then, Dude People?s blossomed and flower-powered into an explosive live-act, a true tour de force. Their debut 4 track 7″ Lo-Fi art damaged Garage Psych Punk. Loud beating, brash guitar treatments, and harsh heated vox punish your ears in the way we all enjoy.

It?s been a year or so since CHINESE BURNS [Melbourne, Australia] released their last 45, two years since ?CAN DIG? 7″ and the wait is totally worth it. You might remember them from a featured interview with TERMINAL BOREDOM. You might remember you have one of your favorite 7″s in your collection from these guys. This is a one-up. The latest effort features 4 tracks of broken feverish Garage Punk, from beginning to end, A to B, this 7″ is effortlessly complete. ?Kiss Fist? was featured on the WINDIAN SUMMER COMPILATION, and was a favored track among the voices that actually got the CD. First 100 copies feature art by the fantastic CHOPPER!

Have you ever chewed a big wad of bubblegum on the beach and gotten sand blown in your mouth? That sugary crunchiness, crackle and pop sensation is similar to the sound of POPPETS, a drum machine based garage-pop duo from Sweden. The group consists of Lina and Magnus, whose crazy pop hooks will instantly make you fall head over heels in love. A few months after starting out, Bachelor Records released their debut 7″ record ?Pre-Party? and that?s when the fun began. Since then the swedes produced a whirlwind of releases on such labels as, Burger Records, Bubbledumb, Plastic Idol and FDH, and toured the US and Europe in 2009 and 2010, garnering respect and admiration from distinguishing lovers of bright lo-fi new wave-inspired punk rock. Now, POPPETS have put together a new single for WINDIAN. It?s brief, it?s catchy, it?s got the hooks, the charm, and that dancefloor-filler appeal.
