Music Shit / Re: DYS in 2011?
« on: September 18, 2011, 02:01:07 PM »
In Philadelphia, they played a new tune called "The Sound of My Town". It was a song about music in Boston. A little later, a severely haggard Dave Smalley introduced some song or other by talking about punk & rebellion and telling the crowd "This song is about not trusting authority, teachers & cops. Some cops are ok, though." Most of the guys behind him were likely DYS members at some point. Definitely the bass player. All except for the babyfaced, clean cut, real young 2nd guitar player hidden in the back. He was the one who knew the songs.

And you guys might want to revisit Fire & Ice.

FACTORYMEN
Yellow Eyes & The Sound of Vomit
Vinyl 12? EP + 25 track download
RR//TT#30

More Mensa material from the Rust Belt. FACTORYMEN is a sociopathic, meticulously crafted studio project that centers around Steve Peffer (Homostupids, Folded Shirt, Pleasure Leftists, etc.). It involves the targeted misuse of Rock & even Dance Music instruments and it?s certain to test the patience of your roommate, lover, or father. Yellow Eyes & The Sound of Vomit is an obtuse, off-putting, though catchy mini-album. These are the types of tunes that will roll around in your empty head and you?ll recall them, with horror, as you wait for the bus or write a check for rent or when you beg for forgiveness from your boss after your latest fuck-up. This record is the soundtrack to unpleasantness.

305 copies. Covers silk-screened by Neil Burke at Monoroid.

Includes mp3 download for Yellow Eyes... + Shitman + the debut FACTORYMEN 45 on My Mind?s Eye Records. IN REALITY, IT'S 2 NEW TUNES.

yo penetrator

who the hell is milk music?

...you need any handlers?

MILK MUSIC is a hard rock group from closer to your part of the nation than to mine.

And I manage to handle myself these day.

How you been?

Attendance is mandatory at this event. Throbbing wild punk/psych burners BIRDS OF MAYA will be making their ONLY live appearance of the summer. Like a lungful of smoke, the dudes will dissipate across the earth to spread joy. Bassist Jason "Spacin'" Chillinger will be relocating to the Delaware Beach to lead a seminar in advanced grilling techniques. Drummer Ben L. has accepted an internship as an understudy for the Phillie Phanatic. Guitarist M. Polizze is directing his full energy toward his other band: DIZZY SUN AND RAINBOWS. They're a full-on Band of Gypsies tribute act and they'll be playing the main dining hall on select Royal Caribbean Cruise Vacations.

Also on the bill, Olympia's loud guitar act MILK MUSIC make their Philadelphia debut. And Princeton's HOME BLITZ make a rare trip down I-95 to play classics and to unveil some new tunes.

It's a full length LP and it's available now.

Party Addiction was recorded live in Philadelphia. Violent Students kicked around for a couple of months and some of them have been involved in things like Clockcleaner, PRF, Watery Love, Overt Hostility, Life Sucks, and the Profos. Every once in a while they'd have a guitar player. The night that Party Addiction was recorded, Lea Cho of Blues Control & Watersports held the guitar and rode the wah.

In the U.S., paypal $15 to TestosterTunes at gmail
