Cities / Re: Dallas?

Nothing yet? Is Dallas that bad? I've only ever been to DFW... new territory here.

Also, I need a cat sitter. Anyone in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area in the mood to cat sit? Pretty please?

I'll be in dallas from 12/24-12/28. Can anyone suggest fun things to do? My father lives in the grapevine area, whatever that means. I doubt I can drag him record shopping, but if anyone could suggest things of interest, that would be great. Culture-y stuff, music-stuff, thrifting maybe? Thanks!

I had a roommate who would do it a lot. He fit a really specific donor demographic and he felt it'd benefit his community, so he'd do it...once a year?. If I recall he'd have to take time off work, and the process was pretty painful. It's drawn out over months like egg donation though, and you can be a drinker/smoker. They do pump you full of drugs that basically make you over-produce white blood cells. As a result pre/post procedure is a little fucked.

Supposedly the "powers that be" can tell how often an employees mouse moves at Bloomberg corp.

If I viewed TB at work I'd get fired, too many swastikas.

Wotta goddess.  Fuch!  Weimar Berlin musta been a helluva time.  Berber, Dietrich, Isherwood and the gays, "Cabaret," Bowie recording "Heroes..."

Has anyone read Peter Gay's "Weimar Culture"? Looks pretty interesting. School's almost out for winter break and I wanna keep up my reading chops. I want something informative but not too text booky. Also thinking of picking up John Dewey's "Art as Experience". Nerd Alert!

I made a pumpkin pie, I usually avoid them but it worked out really well. I used real pumpkin puree, not the canned stuff! (Although I have to give my friend credit for that part)
