finally its ready... BATMAN & ROBIN - I'm a bat... I'm a rock and roll animal 7"

Their debut 7" was (to my surprise) well acclaimed by both, critics and music loving folks, so here it is... their second platter! With an "exquisite" mixture of garage punk and comedy, BATMAN & ROBIN are charming their way into the hearts and homes of everyone. Song titles like "I feel pretty good when smashing other people" or "Gotham City Blues" should lead into a buying decision. If not, you're a loser. Each single comes with an mini zine called "Gotham Gazette" plus a free cut out Batman Schnauz! (thats a moustache you goof.) 500 copies on black wax.

when i put out stuff on varmint records (which i did with other people some years ago) they bought some records every now and then. now he ordered again, but didnt pay so i didnt send the records out. after been fucked by zaxxon i dont send out records to distros whose folks i do not know personally, those always have to pay upfront of course. anyways.... so i sent some reminders to pukenvomit, no response, but then he paid via paypal - eCheck. that one was pending some days, or a week, then the payment was cancelled. maybe twas pukenvomit who cancelled it, maybe it was paypal? i dunno...

i just wanted to know if anyone has had similar probs or not....

hey everyone, i checked a lot of copies, only some had a problem with the second song on side a, but after spinning the record 2-3 times the song played perfectly. i dunno. i will make a claim at the record pressing plant asking what can be the reason for it. must have been some dust in the groove. i always press at the same pressing plant, and i never had any problems... please pm me if you have problems! thanks!

Happy to report that "Kinetic" miraculously plays through till the end now. I'd played it 3-4 times in a row when I was taping it for my car and each time it just stopped. So that's the version I've been listening to for the past couple of weeks. Don't know what happened, but it's fine now. Thanks for checking on that, gimp.

pfew good to hear! thanks for the info.
i was just about to post that there is a special limited edition of 7 copies of the boys club record which skip. super collectors item. haha. not funny, i know.

townes van zandt - live at the jester lounge 1966
unbelieveable that this was just the beginning of his career
how does this compare to Live at the Old Quarter?

i like it a lot more cause its (i think) a really small bar, and he's of course telling jokes between songs, plus a lot of talking blues songs. perfect.

BEAT BEAT: that show on saturday was amazing.... digger & the pussycats who were headlining the show kinda had problems... its very difficult  playing a show after BEAT BEAT fired 12 shots of garage punk mayhem at the audience...
