THE SWINGIN' NECKBREAKERS look like they've stepped out of the photocopied sleeve notes for one of Crypt Records' Back From The Grave releases and sound like it too. But they haven't. They've stepped off the cover of a Telstar Record. And they're celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Telstar release "Live For Buzz" with this show. "Live for Buzz" was a revelation to garage fiends in the early '90s, and it hasn't aged much since (even if you have). It's still a killer disc powerful enough to shake a few neck bolts and lower vertebrae loose then send you home hoarse with creaky knees pulverized by the time you're done dancing to it. It's flat-out incendiary! And in person it's no different. This mighty trio from Trenton, N.J. are one of the best bands bar none the garage scene circa '60 something through NOW has ever produced. They have it all; a killer name taken from old pro wrestler Ken Patera's signature move, solid guitar thrashing courtesy of Jeff Jefferson, a drummer in John Jorgenson who puts Bamm-Bamm Rubble to shame -- and a fiery frontman who takes no guff, bass player and vocal shredder Tom Jorgensen. Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of "Live for Buzz" Tour kicks off at The Bowery Electric, September 27th, 2012.

THE ORIGINAL SINS outta' Bethlehem, PA. are led by John Terlesky and deliver pummeling blasts of scathing garage punk with more sharp hooks than a tackle box. Think Buzzcocks meet The Misfits and twice as pissed.

METALLEG, a self proclaimed "Gutter Pop" trio deliver authentic melody driven garage-rock with prominent punk influences (specifically, the three chord excellence of The Ramones). Other heavy influences include Fred Frith, GG Allin, Cheap Trick, Redd Kross and more yet you'd be hard pressed to hear a single ripped off melody or lifted lick. These guys write their own hits thank you, and they're instant classics upon first listen!

I am Mark Sultan. I am known as 'BBQ'. I play in The King Khan & BBQ Show with King Khan, The Almighty Defenders with King Khan and Black Lips, The Ding-Dongs with Bloodshot Bill, and was in Les Sexareenos and The Spaceshits. I have put records out on Goner, In The Red, SubPop, Norton, Vice, Fat Possum, Bomp!, Sympathy For The Record Industry, Crypt and many others. I have toured all over the world.
?If there?s a Patient Zero in garage rock?s recent shift from emulating the troglodytic stomp of teenage Stones wannabes in 1965 to embracing the Golden Oldies pop and doo-wop of the years just before Beatlemania, it?s probably Mark ?BBQ?
