Music Shit / School me on electric Miles

I'm don't know much about jazz. Miles' catalogue is pretty vast, and of his electric stuff I'm only really familiar with "On the Corner." But it was this quote by Robert Quine that piqued my interest: "You have got the Velvet Underground, the Stooges, and this Miles Davis stuff post-1972--this stuff is coming right out of the Stooges!" It only then occurred to me that this stuff (at least "On the Corner") ain't musically so far removed from "Funhouse." Someone give me a rundown of these electric records.

if you're arriving July 1st, we're spinning records at the Plastic Bar in Bastille and on the 2nd, in the afternoon, we're doing a tiny but cool record swap there.
