I saw MM around 2000, it was a fun show, old Dave, foot on the monitor, wind machine blowing in his face causing his locks to flutter.
At one point he picked up this super powerfull torch and beamed it into the crowd. On closer inspection the torch had written on it 'Dave's love light,' I kid you not. I couldn't take 'em seriously after that! But I like their sludge driven rock!

I got myself a 'wolf rock!' tattoo, with a pic of a wolf that I drew. I never thought about getting one, but I was touched when Basswolf passed on, so I guess it's a tribute.

You've just gotta accept that there are hundreds of bands forming every day, all wanting to get their music released, some are successfull, the result, loads of new records flooding out. You don't have to buy it all up. Just filter out the stuff that grabs you. I find it's nice to take a break, come back with a fresh outlook, listen to different genres, I'm having fun with early Depeche Mode and the Chris Barber Skiffle Group at the moment! And yeah, if all else fails, listen to METAL.

Shaun, it was a great night, where were all the punters though??? Good to see your still doing good bad business!

I've had a dry spell of record spinning/keeping up with new bands recently, but I dragged myself out to
see Black Time and the Chinese Lungs on Friday and boy, it sure restored some faith! Sometimes it's best
to see a band in action, it's tons more FUN! Black Time were ace and da Lungs hit the spot. I kindly got given
copies of both bands new singles/albums and as yet they remain unplayed, sometimes it's hard to get excited by just playing a record. You've got to use your eyes as well as yer lugs.
