Upcoming Shows/Tours/Events / Bands to play with in Cleveland on Sunday, Aug 23?

i am trying to put together a show at Now That's Class on Sunday, Aug 23
but i don't know anyone in Cleveland -- any leads for bands who might be interested in playing with us --
we are the Jack Bennies -- 3 guitards loud punk rocknroll
(kinda like The Dictators meets the Dead Boys baptised in Bourbon sauce)

we will be playing in Pittsburgh & Kent OH on the 22nd and 24th -- need to do something about the 23rd

Flint police to arrest "saggers"

According to clickondetroit.com, the Flint, MI police department has enacted a policy that will now arrest people who wear sagging pants.

Police Chief David Dicks said said that the fashion is akin to indecent exposure and anyone wearing pants or shorts that expose their buttocks can be arrested for that crime indecent exposure.

The American Civil Liberties Union is considering the new law as a possible attempt at racially targeting people.

Those who wear sagging pants will be fined and possibly spend a year in jail.

Robbers make off with UD student's fresh pizza

NEWARK, Del. (AP) Newark police say a 20-year-old University of Delaware student was robbed over the weekend.

But the robbers didn't take the victim's cash or credit cards instead, they made off with his hot pizza.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. Saturday. The victim was carrying a pizza on South Chapel Street when police say four young men asked him why he was walking so fast.

The victim then felt what he believed to be a gun pressed against his back, and he gave up the pizza. The four assailants fled in a minivan that was parked nearby.
