hey richie, you should get ahold of the first total control 7", it's got 2 guitars and hardly any synth, it's by far the best thing that band has done, i think you'd dig it. i would also like to offer myself up as another person to do hardcore reviews if you ever need one...it's good to have variety ya know? anyways, check out that total control, you won't regret it.

came in here to post the same thing re: total control.
so that 4 song ep with "total control" and the swell maps cover came before the one reviewed??
it's so much better, and sounds like what the band does live.
highlight of the last gonerfest for me.

the same old "south doesn't deserve their teams, fold them and move them north" gets old every year.
quebec got the relocated ahl atlanta knights and they folded in two years(yeah, i know, not nhl, but still...).
i'm all for an expasion team in winnipeg or quebec, but this attempt to convince the nhl that they are more worthy, in an attepmt to "steal" the team is stupid.
also, take a look at the standings numbers instead of the attendance right now.
the southeast have 3 teams in playoff position, and are a combined 8 points over the next div in the east.
atlanta's attendance will get better now that they are playing well.
and they aren't moving anywhere anytime in the next couple years at least.
they just have shitty ownership right now who aren't willing to spend $$$, and are more interested in the hawks.

going to thrashers/avs tonight.
had some big wins the last couple weeeks against the top teams in the league.
thrashers looking good and playing as a team as opposed to the kovalchuk show.
nice to see kovy and the devils doing so well.

going to thrashers opener vs. caps tonight.
thrashers will probably get slaughtered.
they managed to lose every pre-season game.
new coaching staff, manager, and players will hopefully turn the team around.
dumb move to start byfuglien on D.
looking forward to see e. kane progress, and if new draft burmistrov makes the team.

Yeah, that was night Brace was MC'ing every band and tensions towards him were building through the night. 

so cow wasn't too happy about his "the irish aren't a race, they're a disease".

TOTAL CONTROL were great, best of all of the daytime bands.
