The Smurf, The Popeye and The Jerry Lewis.

Alrighty then. "Licensed To Ill" is the most intellectually enlightening album of Gen. Termbro.

Listened to the new Dynamite Hemorrhage yesterday. It's long, but it's the first I've listened to all the way through. Really good.

That Shetahr track is great.

I just sealed the deal for the authorized reissue. Been trying to get it since 2006. Should be out in September.

Listening now for the first time. Side one is coming to an end. I got some sour diesel the other day and I'm worried that I may never come back if I try both at the same time.

Had an ear flushed due to blockage when I was 12 and it fucked up my equilibrium so bad I almost fell off the Dr.'s table.

I just got a 2nd pair of 1200s - used MK5's this time - (they have the pitch reset button) so I could replace my home turntable with a permanent home DJ set up. The fucking pitch reset button made the pitch adjust totally erratic when not set, so I had to bring it in for repair a week after I got them. 5 week turnaround time! Shitty. But at least when i get it back I can start on my first mix tape since 1999. NOW: I need some advice on a multitrack recording device. I have a lot of short soundbites (via vinyl) that I need to add in between songs that are Too $hort to pull off live. I think it's about 15 clips in all. Is that too many for a four track without having to bounce tracks constantly? Sounds like it. I know nothing about this type of recording...YET. What's a good console to use for what I'm trying to do?

Acid is pretty overrated. It gets a lot of cred because it's called ACID and looks crazy. But it doesn't live up.

That's good to know. I've never heard the whole thing, but the hit song is just too good.

I sure would like an OG copy of Ray Barretto's "Acid" LP.

Two tough Fania 45s:

There's plenty good Fania stuff from the 60s and 70s, but I prefer the boogaloo stuff specifically. Of course even the LPs with boogaloo tracks usually have lots of salsa, descarga and guaganco on them. Cotique and Tico are also good labels for Latin. Ever listen to Joe Cuba?
