Even A Stove Boat was pretty good.

this thread is about as exciting as YORK, PENNSYLVANIA.
actually, York, Pennsylvania happens to be the preeminent creative epicenter of music & art in America, and I don't even like America or art

this song makes me so, very happy!!!

class, and that song is what I love about them, most of their songs are based on a single riff and that's all they need, so fuckin awesome

yup, that minor pentatonic diagram... essential.  also, just make up your own scale patterns just for the purpose of exercising your fingers and hand muscles/coordination/alternate picking.  And hold the pic and use whatever fingerings feel most comfortable to you, not necessarily the fingerings that a book/tab might suggest.

I spotted your problem already - it's 'stroke technique'.  See, you have to arch your fingers

Capitalist Casualties, Crudos, Deathreat, God Hates Computers, Morser, Dystopia, Hellnation, 9 Shocks Terror, GSMF, Inmates, Cider, Darvocets, Ruiners, Exclaim, Orchid, Spazz, Suppression, Assuck, Locust, Jenny Piccolo, Noothgrush, His Hero Is Gone, Ruination, Bloodpact, From Ashes Rise, The Dread, some pf these I am ashamed of...
sounds like the Ringworm house, back in the mid-90's, in San Jose...    Jenny Piccolo, holy shit, haven't heard that name in a long time, around the time of Slobber, Agents of Satan, Cathy Ames...
And Godstomper etc. Yeah we actually had what used to be a small factory attached to an old house so i could walk out of my kitchen and see Oi Polloi or whatever. All the prerequisite filth and dirty dishes etc. Place is still there but it got too political in a childish way for me around 99 or so and i split. Shit got too much like a soap opera and it became harder and harder take.zzzz
Godstomper...used to hang out with Paul back then and during The Barfos, I recorded the Godstomper/No Comply 7" in '98 and did some horrible vocals on some of the Godstomper songs...

horrible writing, redundant use of adverbs and lots of "no faux squelch emit"

Is anyone interested in him today? He is playing a free show at the boardwalk and I was thinking about going. Good excuse to get a corndog and go on the cavetrain ride.
you'd be disappointed if you went, but the cavetrain ride is always worth it, as a kid I often got dragged to see Peter Noone play there, pretty fuckin horrible

Faux News does have alot of good looking women on there, that's about it.

We are also at war in Colombia, as part of the War on Drugs.  Communism was a pretext for previous wars and fear mongering and now it's (been for awhile) war on terror.  I voted for Obama foolishly believing he would be an anti-war president.

But as long as we don't have a military draft, people won't really care how many wars we get involved in because it's someone else dying and being killed, not me.  There won't be any massive protests unless a draft is enacted and then maybe we can have real "change" and get enough people to be involved to protest and end these stupid wars.

Grind (and I mean GRIND, not hardcore, noise, death metal etc) didn't entirely suck for about 15 minutes circa 1987, but it-- appropriately-- expired faster than pretty much any other genre I can think of.  Insect Warfare are the only consistently really good grind band I've heard since the second Napalm Death record, although early Brutal Truth had its moments. Carcass Grinder and Discordance Axis were impressive live but the records didn't catch it.

Basically, pre-death metal Napalm, Terrorizer and maybe some early Carcass are all you need.
[/quote] exactly, F.E.T.O.  is probably the essential grind, and first two Carcass albums, Terrorizer album still fuckin kills everything, and also that Defecation album from '89
