Haven`t heard this one for 28 years and it still sounds ridiculous. Most hated NDW group of dem all.

That remix of Laced is so sick. The original is pretty awesome too. I look forward to the possibility of 12" remix singles of Horseshit in the future.
A: French countryside (Blues Control Remix), B: Laced (U.S. Girls Remix) out on Silthouse May 22ND. Would love to hear it!

even better than late period Scientists.

Even the Chrome Cranks would tell you this is 100% WRONG.

100% TRUE, that's what Jerry did.

in the red should be putting this shit out instead of wounded lion and the oh sees and the vivian girls and the blank dog$
DUH

All of those bands are 100% better than the Chrome Cranks.  Worst thing that Jerry Teel and Bob Bert have ever been involved with. Pete Weglee - never connected with that dude.

Are you outta your fucking mind? Any band is better than Vivian Girls and Chrome Cranks are far better than Int'l Shades. Granted that Weglee had his fair share of moments of douchebaggery in the nineties but he seems to have out grown it. I caught these guys a few times in their prime but they were never better than when I saw them last summer. They played the Knitting Factory like it was the fucking Garden.
Hell, they even played CBs in August 92 like it was the fucking garden. Mighty Cheater Slicks continued and sounded bland in comparison. Far as I'm concerned, one of the great bands of their time and even better than late period Scientists.

the clean - boodle boodle boodle.  coolest bass tone.

maybe im just high but "point that thing somewhere else" is probably the best clean song ever

That was always my thought. I picked up the Clean Comp tape in '85 or so, and it was one of the only tapes I could play when hanging out with my high school buddies (who only liked metal and classic rock). We didn't smoke weed (then).

Listening to this:

Underrated German fake (?) punker.

Weed or not: best Clean song ever. Rotzkotz were as "real" as kraut punks could get in 78. They self released their debut in 79, toured with Childishs Pop Rivets (first gigs outside the UK) and played at least one show with 39 Clocks in Hannover (hometown of both). Guitarist Dieter Runge moved to NYC later that year and joined KBD legends New York Niggers (pre-Dresden 45).

FLOATING DI MOREL Said my say  (Play Loud!, 2009). Last Disciples of psychobeat as invented by C.H./J.G. 39 and Room 101. A few good tracks, have to revisit.
"Never See You Again-Augsburg 1982-85" (Unwucht 7", 2011). Wow, this one gives me the creeps, NDW the way it was meant to be.
DUKES ON LSD ...und sie legten ihren F?hrer in den Gotteskasten (Weckewerk, 1989). Unique and predating Shadow Rong for almost four years. Who`s behind the mask? TJ?
CANZONOERE DEL LAZIO lassa sta la me creatura (Intingo, 1974). A charity shop rescue. Italian prog with ridiculous gypsy jazz interludes and a singing nun. Close to unlistenable.
HERMAN BROOD C60 I recorded around 84/85. Happy Birthday City Rock thread!

Feargal "Teenage Kicks" Sharkey is right up there with Rod Steward, it even hurts to write their names.

Non-Music Shit / Re: Mailing Records to Germany?
« on: March 04, 2011, 05:54:40 PM »
Don`t ship in advance (could be real expensive), simply follow the SS guide. German immigration officials usually don`t care about such trivia as records. Last time I came back from the US the guy at customs asked me "have you been deejaying in Philadelphia?" Had like 250 records in my suitcases...

Scientology albums? L. Ron Hubbards Apollo Stars "Power of Source" is unfortunately bland and boring. Still wondering what kinda people pay 70 bucks for Ron's "funky album".
