I doubt there will be much fallout at all. In the UK in the early 80's 'the lads' took to the streets and rioted like fuck. This should have happened on a local level several times over the past 10 years. Fact is 'the lads' are too busy watching porn, taking crap legal highs, playing video games and living very easy lives to be directly effected enough. They really don't have the time anymore.

This is truly awful but whatever happens I'm still shipping worldwide.

I send to Brazil regularly with no problem at all. The postal service in some countries is shit but the recipients I have had little problem with. I always make the buyer pay for tracking/insurance, so where's the risk? There's a lot of money to be made sending overseas and guess what? Some of my customers in Brazil and Malaysia are not from that country!! In fact one Brazillian guy lives in Malaysia and...oh, what's the point?

Yeah, cuz everyone's "racist" vs the English.
I didn't say everyone and there is no other logical reason to not send anything anywhere if it is tracked and insured but if you want a fight (like you usually do with me) it has only ever been Americans who have refused and especially after 9/11 and that's a fact cuntface. Sad but true.

Never mind all that - I love your British Brick Walls list!
http://www.discogs.com/lists/British-Brick-Walls/209646
That's some serious filtering! Interesting how much is UK82 - I'm sure there must be a LOT more but I for one am spending no time looking for them.....!

Some really breathtaking brick walls here! Not the Chron Gen bricks though, those really are some absolute shit bricks.  They belong in landfill, worse fucking bricks I've ever seen! Those bricks offend my eyes, they burn my nose and I can't even smell them! Two thumbs down for Chron Gen's terrible bricks.

It's a fucking outrage - a fackin' ahhtrage even.
Brick walls should ALWAYS be in conjunction with dereliction. That's the whole fackin point....
I was going to say the Chron Gen bricks were shit because they were Welsh bricks. I then remembered that I was getting Chron Gen confused with the Partisans. My confusion was down to Glynn Barber of Chron Gen who is obviously Welsh with a fucking Taff name like that. I would just like to conclude that The Partisans bricks look well smart and totally compliant with British Standard Specification for clay bricks, BS 3921.

I asked about shipping a certain record to Finland that I was prepared to pay more than the initial asking price and the guy just said that "I won't ship overseas". Then I watched the item go unsold once, then again at the same price, then once again for 25% off of the initial price. Okay then, whatever floats your boat buddy.

That's nuts. While I'd prefer NOT to have to fill out a bunch of customs slips,
when it comes down to it I'd ship a record to the damn moon as long as you pay...
It's basically down to rascism, not customs forms. No point mentioning specific countries but I have had many ebay sellers refuse to ship to the UK for no good reason even when I've offered to pay for DHL.

I remember reading somewhere that his drumming style was unique, not sure how true that is.

The idea of buying something based on a review in a 'zine or on a website is almost completely foreign to me now.

Well yeah. The internet. You can listen to nearly anything instantaneously. If unsure, check out what everyone's saying collectively. Been that way for a long time now. People used to get really pissed at me for saying this here years back. Thank god for Byron Coley etc when I was a kid in the 80s, though.
I miss the days when an LP purchase was based on (after all other avenues of information were exhausted) bands mentioned on the thanks list.

Northern Soul and Motown comps, Gong, Hawkwind, Zappa, Kate Bush, Hendrix, Beatles, Nick Drake, Max Tundra.
I listen to hardcore 80% of the time, punk 10% and the above etc 10%

Ribbed was great when it came out, I saw them in '91 and '92 and they were exceptional live. I can't listen to a second of it now.
Destroy Oh Boy comes under the same category as Suffer and The Quickness for me; 'This sounds great' then after 2 or 3 listens you realise there's nothing there.

Charles Bronson and Los Crudos too. Sorry Ebro.

I only listen to the LP by Charles Bronson now, the rest is blah.

I was a female fronted band nerd for a long time in the late '90s early 00's.  One band I loved at that time was the Chubbies.  Woof, that stuff sucks to me now.  There's a handful of songs that are ok. But there's no need for me to own all their 7"s still.
The Bronson side of the split with Quill is amazing.

Slayer - Raining Blood (Reign In Blood?) on a banjo. Possibly better than the original.
