Heresy/Concrete Sox
Oh, wait...they're both shit.
Agree about Faith, terrible band. The Untouchables tracks on Flex are classic though.
Insane/Septix, the Septix are crap

Septix are so crap you can't even remember their actual name, The Skeptix :)

I know it's hip to always big-up the Void side of the split, but I really like the Faith side. Just good, solid hardcore. Love the"Subject..." 12", too.

I used to quite like the Heresy side of the split, though it was a bit metally. The Concrete Sox side sucks, I agree.

Career Suicide/Jed Whitey - Jed Shitey, more like.
Heimat Los/Kromozom 4 - K4 are annoying as hell what with all their "comedy" skits while Heimat Los rage away.
Most of the splits Seein' Red did were with vastly inferior bands.
Ha, that was a typo. Their side of the cover was more memorable though. The 1st Heresy song starts well but it's all down hill from there. Most of the splits I have are pretty well balanced.

Rumours is a brilliant record. My parents played it all the time and it was on the radio all the time as well. Nearly 40 years on I'm still not bored of it. That said I've never owned a copy and would never listen to it by choice.

There was a period in my life in the late 90's early 00's where I worked a 60+ hour week and spent a lot of my free time pissed and stoned watching mtv with the Mrs. This period is by far the worst for music ever. Songs like Bohemian Like You, Just A Day and Learn To Fly crept  into my subconcious not because they were good but because they were just better than the really bad stuff and the vids were pretty entertaining. Learn To Fly always sounded like a Grant Du track, a lot like Turn On The News. What little nostalgia I have for it was totally crushed by this mass idiocy;

Shit! I thought the Grohl comment earlier was another general 'Grohl gets everywhere' joke but no....

I didn't know about that, that's fucking horrible. Even though he seems to be genuinely enjoying it, it's vomit inducing. That sort of thing just shouldn't happen, it's like, I dunno, Henry Rollins singing for the Ruts or something. Just think how horrible that would be.
Lest we forget this as well, the worst thing ever. Tit Rifle on vocals.

Music Shit / Re: does anyone really take the sleaford mods seriously?

I've played shows on acid, shrooms, meth plus all the usual chemicals. Diff'rent strokes.
Do you mean a full trip, 50 shrooms? I don't believe a band with 4 members can have the same constitution to do a full trip and all be able to play, no way. I've told this story before on here about one of my bands 1st gigs and our guitarist was so nervous he did a load of speed and not only forgot how to play the songs but how to play guitar entirely. He only had barr chords to play.

I still have no idea what Tit Rifle means, I guess it'st just a stupid made up insult like Twat Basket or something.
Dope paranoia was one of the main reasons I packed it in. Not wanting to answer the door or phone or go to the shops for munchies. A real dilemma the last one. I met a guy in a service station recently who told me he was too high to give us directions, he ran back to his car and drove off.
Doing drugs on stage I've never understood. I tried it at pratices and found that I would lose count of how many times I'd played a riff. Bands like Nasa Space Universe reckon they do acid on stage, I reckon that's bullshit. Either that or the acid must be really crap because most of the trips I've done I couldn't even hold a guitar properly.

I reckon it will go a bit like this..
'Uh, Bob...there appears to be more of your songs than mine on this set list?'
Game over.

Isn't Grant a natural drummer? He plays and sings all of his songs including on Land Speed. A few practices and he'd be fine as long he lays off the smack like.

I guess I can see why people would like them, I can't stop trying to figure out why the second guy is on stage. That distracts me too much to in any way enjoy the music.
It wouldn't be the same without Andrew, he's Bez with talent. I think he's got a lot of bottle (and stupid vapour fags) to stand there and press one button per song but he's well worth 50% of the deal for me.

I'd like to see them if they reformed because I reckon they'd be fucking spotless. Thing is though, when they came to the UK first time they refused to play old stuff (nothing before NDR) In A Free Land we shouted, no acknowledgement at all, Real World, nope, nothing. If they played now I reckon I could get both of those and maybe even a Bricklayer or a Punchdrunk out of it. I seem to remember Bob doing IAFL with New Age?

Now that's how you write a punk song.
Jason looks a little out of his comfort zone here. Is this their first time in front of a TV audience? Andrew looks well up for it though and he's got the tougher job I reckon just stood their with fuck all to do, can't be easy.
