« on: June 06, 2007, 10:49:33 AM »I think PH is an amazing live band & an amazing studio band. I can see the problems with trying to record the live thing in a way that doesn't sound like a huge mess, though.
I hope these guys, and a lot of the whole weird pome-recording crowd, use the Country Teasers Live Album template rather than try to replicate a live show. Are there other "live" albums that do that?

Nice quote on the photo site "July 22, 1979: Families gather at Polliwog Park to watch a Sunday afternoon concert. While parents might've been unimpressed with the first couple bands, it was a third group called Black Flag (apparently booked to play Fleetwood Mac covers) that had 'em fuming and leaving en masse. Even kids were pelting the stage with garbage as the promoter commandeers the mic and issues fruitless pleas for order. Embedded in the chaos – camera in hand – is Spot who captures Black Flag's first real taste of infamy in beautiful black & white."
BUT i dunno about "embedded in the chaos...Spot captures etc etc" - these photos look just like a nice sunday in the park not a gargabe pelting (although yes theres a few beer cans are on the stage...hmmm beer cans on a stage?)
