It's funny how many comps of this sort exist.  I've seen at least four or five different ones, all of which overlap somewhat.  Just yesterday I gave away to a buddy of mine a comp just called Deutschland -- it has a bunch of little dioramas on the cover -- that overlaps with this one about 50%.  Every one of them has "Eine Neue Stadt," something by Der Plan, something by Fehlfarben or Abwarts or both. 

Anyway.  It serves to remind me of just how big and how mainstream this music was in Germany, which is fun to think about.

Theres dozens . Most have 3-4 good songs from the beginning of NDW and are filled with what the music industry later called Neue Deutsche Welle. These are a common find on flea markets for +/- 2 euros. Looks like i should start selling them on ebay.com.
