hmmm,... i was just wondering what makes a record worth owning? the fact that its obscure and impossible to get? no. to fill the void of a missing space in the collection? not at all. the fact that its a good record worth listening to over and over again? maybe thats it.

i will not stop seeking these out. i was excited about these records when i first heard about them then they sold out before they were released?

whos getting these and why isn't the public getting a chance to get them? i/we demand a repress. or a distro thats not a total cocksucker like radio 81. ptrash is overhyped and over priced anyways. how does this guy get the go-ahead to put out such great releases?? i wonder what jay thinks of all this? does he think its fair? un-fair? or is he just laughing like he just don't care?

uh,... the ERGS! are hands-down one of the best bands going right now and if can't hear the FACT that they write some damn near perfect catchy-ass songs, then you can't tap a toe to shit!! Put aside the fact they play "pop-punk", who gives a shit?!!? they shouldn't be called "pop-punk" because they're a lot better than that! and yeah, they ARE the nicest motherf-er's ever.

i once (2002?) saw this "xhardxcorex" band in Gulfport, MS called Anigav (vagina, backwards). they all wore matching jump suits and were maybe 15-16 year olds. the bass player and singer brutally swaped kicking eachother really hard in the nuts for most the entire set. and then everyone spit blood on eachother for a couple mintues. not sure if thats the weirdest thing i've ever seen, but it sticks out.

another crazy thing is seeing the Wenesdays hanging upside down from rafters while still palying their instruments and never missing a beat. thats always fun.

called Harry and the Potters. yeah, like, what the fuck??

it was actually really really good. most of their tour's shows are in public libraries. i didn't listen to any of their recordings until today when i found them on myspace, but live, it was a really fun punk rock show. weird, huh?
