I've been DJing at bars for years and I'm pretty sick of it. What I've always wanted to do is get a decent DJ set-up at my place, have friends come over and bring records, and just DJ to shit to each other. But on some kind of regular basis. Of course, I have this capability now, maybe I can make it happen.

my friends work at a bar and every three weeks or so a bunch of friends get together on one of its closed days and play records to each other. Its pretty sweet.

I'm one of those weirdos that never was that crazy about Gluey Porch Treatments, but really liked Houdini. When it comes to heavy, I used to be way into Eyehategod, Grief, Corrupted, Man is the Bastard and all that Bovine shit back in the day, but I always thought Noothgrush were inferior to pretty much everything else. Now I don't mind hearing a little Eyehategod on occasion, but in general don't have a whole lot of patience for the slow, heavy genre in general.

it will always be MITB for me. the mumia split is fantastic
