Then I discovered that sometimes, music that was just good and fun was perfectly legitimate.
Members of both Fall Out Boy and Dashboard Confessional were in "hardcore" bands. I don't think that really counts, though.a friend of mine used to tour with pete wentz when he was in hardcore bands. apparently they used to argue whether transformers or GI joes were better
HHIG were one of the few bands to take influence from Neurosis and not fuck it up. Definitely not boring.
'Course I guess you have to like Neurosis also...
(it's cool for what it is, but with the exception of No Comment, I don't find it that enduring, and Neanderthal/MITB/Spazz just kind of bore me) although it was brilliant in the emo/metal/sxe-suffocated context of the time, consider Infest to be a hardcore band, period.
sick, i think i am all good. no blank labels, no matrix numbers scratched out.
the infest looks legit, but def a repress. i need to get one of those off the disk "slave" lps, with the ugly ass cover. saw someone drop like $80 beans for that at a show once, damn.
