First three Spits were enjoyable enough at the time.  I still play the second every now and again...but seeing em a couple times was all I needed

They pulled it off but their successors pushed the dum dum angle too far and it got ridiculous and lame quick

DC Snipers did that sound better for what it's worth

Heard the new Thug, it's ok.  I've come to appreciate what he does, not a hater Anymore.  That being said, this project isn't really going to break out into a bigger spotlight.  Production is ok, his vocals are ok but there's nothing that really stands out about this project.  I know Lyor is trying to hard to make him into a young rap version of David Bowie but the music has to match the image and storyline.

He needs to get back together with Quan...they were a good match musically

Also heard the new Vince Staples.....I liked a bit of it...Loco is pretty good, they actually used this weird noisy delay pedal trick that I used to do in my old band.  Just like thug, this project is solid but nothing too memorable or next level.  Still waiting Vince to really wow me with something instead of just being perpetually solid

Get Down starts off a mess but gets better.

First episode was kinda all over the place and wild cheesy but the block party scene redeemed it.  Hopefully it keeps moving in the right direction

That Bruce Leeroy cat is kinda over the top....Shaolin...lol theyre tryin a little hard with that

Ken Forssi was a super underrated bass player....shame his lines got buried on Forever Changes

Kind of wish more bands would place more emphasis on having a good bass player.......

Anyone see Get Down yet....hopefully it turnz out better than Vinyl?
