The Mission District saw the price for the average apartment rental go up by $591/40 percent between 2011 and 2012, in the Western Addition neighborhood those numbers were $958/53 percent.

Yeah. I looked at places in my old neighborhood (which used to be cheap since it was actually a normal neighborhood with normal people; thus, no one wanted to live there), and was blown away. No wonder almost everyone I knew has left.

Can not wait for another tech crash.

As far as I know, 2/3 of that band are no longer in SF.

Such a bummer. My favorite band since high school, they really were a life changing band for me, as cheesy as that sounds. Glad I got to see them twice.

Assuming Dead Kennedys have a bunch, cause they just seem like they would. I know they at least got Jock-O-Rama or whatever it's called.

DEVO
Ramones
Cramps
Creedence
Sonics

Not in order, although DEVO is still #1.

And I'm throwing in the Germs.

Sounds like a classic case of "Who cares?"

Also:

just spent an hour looking at this, where the fuck did this guy get all of these?

That might have given me a hint.

Not an LP, but this gets my vote for best hatertainment in 2013:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K21pVUfOiVQ

So rich:  Everything from the audience shots to the smirking (constant, relentless smirking) of the CEO; from the artists' self-importance to their craven servitude to the boss; from the wallpaper music to the wallpaper people who make it, deserves your attention, IHOMO.  The imp of the perverse rears his ugly lil' netherhead and compels one (okay, me) to watch.  I got nothing to say about it beyond this; in some ways it captures (ahem) the spirit of '13 better than anything else.  I'm not above this.

This was unbearable. What are these people going to do when in about 4 months, absolutely no one gives a shit about them? They all seem so pathetic, completely incapable of existing in reality.

Also, I'd never heard of Mac Demarco until about a month ago. I guess I'm out of the loop. Actually, I don't think I've heard of any of these people besides Blank Dogs. Ignorance truly is bliss.

DEVO's Greatest Misses. Better than Greatest Hits (although the Hits has Gates of Steel..)

There was a period of time when Chicken Fries were the only thing my kid would eat.  They were just french fry shaped chicken pieces, IIRC

Man, I miss In and Out.  I guess we may have one soon since Dallas has one and Austin is building one.

Austin one is right by my house and almost finished. They are going further south to New Braunfels too. I don't know where you are, but if you're in Texas I'm sure one is headed your way. Tons of Cali transplant hate currently going on. It's pretty crazy how a hamburger is such big news, be it love or hate. Especially with no advertising on In N Out's part, just a sign on the fence. Regardless, I'm BEYOND STOKED.

I'm in Houston.  So where exactly is the one gonna be in Austin?  I'm gonna have to go.   I used to eat these every day at lunch in high school.  Now if we could get a fucking Roberto's here (no chance in Hell of that.)

I-35 and Airport Blvd.

Country Teasers - Points of View. I guess it's more of non-riff bass line though...
