Probably not the best forum to post this on, but whatever.

For sale is The Raiders - Hocus Pocus / Yoo Hoo 7" on Andex from 1959 (?). Very hard to find rockabilly.  This copy is a promotional copy which is indicated on the Yoo Hoo side. Record definitely shows wear, but plays fine. Label has sticker tear  and pen marking.

$140 ppd in the USA. International shipping can be calculated.

If you know anybody interested in this forward this message. Thanks.

Fra Lippo Lippi - Tap Dance For Scientists 7". 1981 minimal synth from Norway.  Released on Private Records. Vinyl is very clean VG++. Sleeve has sticker tear on cover, creasing on all corners and ring wear on back.  Definitely not the cleanest, but not too bad either. If you need pictures I can provide.

$40 PPD in the USA.

Shipping can be calculated for anywhere else.

Thanks

Out now on Puke N Vomit Records... Max And The Makeups
Formally unreleased Texas punk from 1981 until now. Killer tracks!

The short story of Max And The Makeups

In 1981, Max and the Makeups "starred" in The University of Texas film school project "The 41st Song".  The concept of the film was that the Top 40 was evil and Max and the Makeups played "The 41st Song" - the song that would propel the peasants to revolt against The Establishment. The film also starred The Next'sTy Gavin.

Alvarez recalls "The Makeups fell into a 'film noir' category in 1981. Every band had to fall in to some category at that time - punk, new romantic, new wave, etc.  We were very busy in film and music videos mainly because of the UT film school and that all of us were UT students.  Jon Howard was a film student and he brought a lot of the film community to the group".

The Makeups would later (1982) star in one of the earliest awful- horror-film genre films"Future Kill", where the band had the same role and effect on the crowd in the audience that it had in "The 41st Song" ? when the band played - the peasants would revolt against The Establishment.
