Oh yeah, and "I Want You" by the Troggs is the jam!  Brainbombs 3 decades removed.

coupla other great heavy Troggs tracks:
-"Gonna make you" (super skronky diddley beat)
-"Feels like a woman" (produced by Rodger Bain...)
-"Come Now"

Anyone ever hear their version of "Good Vibrations"? Goddamn genius.

no shit on Good God on the new Human Eye 7". lets hope they continue this drift. they could do something that rivals Future Language.

I think they are-has anyone listened to "Universe Nurse" & "lightning In her Eyes" on their Myspace? "Lightning" is amazing, a true epic.

- lots of royal trux stuff (yesterday and in general) - never liked this band, but the pink reason lp reminded me of them, so decided to check them out again.  still not into the 1st LP or twin infinitives (which seem to get the most praise).  but the 3rd s/t lp, some the stuff on the singles collection , and thank you are all pretty damn good.

Been wondering why no one ever brings them up.. the first two albs are pretty unlistenable, but they have a ton of great stuff... the major label Sweet Sixteen is awesome (though it usually gets slagged)- total 70's cheese but they somehow make it work. Also Dan Brown is one of the best bassists ever.

Spiders and their kins rules! Best song I've heard by Human Eye yet. Love the guitar solo.

.

maine was also home of the HUMPTY DUMPTY brand chip when i was growing up. they went out of business and closed the distro place in my town when i was really young. i remember being devastated i couldn't get their ketchup flavored chips anymore..still can't.

Humpty Dumpty is actually from here in New Brunswick, I believe they were founded by our ex-premier Richard Hatfield. They're still easy to find around the maritimes. But I always found they were lacking in flavor.

You can't get Snyder's chips here, but you can get their Honey Mustard Pretzel bites, which are one of the best things I've ever tasted.
