"Bill" has a really bizarre song called 'The Spider' that you might just need to hear:

I always heard to avoid both them and Fuse (early Rick Nielsen), but who was in it? Cheap Trick were around in '75 so was it early 70s? Bun E. Carlos probably?

That very well could be, as Canderson is one of their staff photographers and it's a glossy mag made by a few skate industry people we know.

BOLD CHICKEN! Mike have you heard this stuff? It's from '72-73 Akron and was the pre-Rubber City Rebels sludge punk band with Buzz Clic. The vocals are so freaked out for that era, the only thing that really comes to mind is the Mentally Ill, but with a strange laid-back Gizmos soundtrack and little demonic backup vocals that sound like the Garbage Pail Kids behind it. Songs about STDs, streetwalkers (or Kerb Crawlers), and laundromats never sounded so good. Just got released on Smog Veil, but it's CD only.

That's right kids, Horizontal Action has magically turned into a record label. Our first two limited edition releases are on the way, and we're now accepting pre-orders for the records. We have only 100 of each on gold vinyl (with alternate sleeves) which are available through us direct only, and the remaining 400 of each are on black vinyl (but just as great, of course). Only two copies per order of the Gold editions, sorry folks.
