Matchitehew Assembly is a two day, all-ages assembly of musicians from across the nation and otherwise, June 5th and 6th, 2009 in Chicago, Illinois. The performances will consist of everything from traditional black metal to noise.

Non-Music Shit / Sewer Rats?

So I wake up this morning and walk to the bathroom. A bit bleary eyed/hungover opened up the lid to the toilet to take a piss and what do I find...a huge fucking rat moving about and agitated. Freaked the fuck out and closed the lid. I'm guessing the width on this thing is about four inches and about nine inches long. Something along those lines. Try flushing multiple times and I can just hear the thing scratching about. Finally found some sort of blunt object to kill the thing...flush one more time to remove the water so I'm not splashing about in my deathmask and the thing leaves. What the fuck do I do??? Is this thing gonna make it's way back up into my toilet. Don't even wanna think about shitting the next few days. Ahhh I hate mice let along a fucking RAT.

Anybody ever have any trouble with this guy? Put together a few orders...shit got sent. I got it. I'm happy. Anyway busted an order early february for fifty dollars worth of things. Four twelves or something. Anyway it still hasn't seen my neck of the woods. Very little responses to any of my emails. Cryptic little dittys. Who knows? Anyway...I want the records. Bummed. Just wondering if any of you heads have had any trouble in the past. Let a guy know what to do!

Any Chicago heads gonna make it out? Trying to round the troops in Lafayette to make the northern journey.

On April 4th 2009, The Numero Group?s Eccentric Soul Revue will make its debut at Chicago?s Park West Theater. And while Syl Johnson, the Notations, and Nate Evans perform regularly around the world, Renaldo Domino, the Kaldirons, and the Final Solution haven?t been on stage in over 30 years. In true revue fashion, we?ve hired Chicago?s stalwart Uptown Sound to back the entire performance and expanded their tight rhythm section to include horns, backing vocalists, and strings. The show will be preceded by an interactive slideshow of Chicago soul memorabilia and a DJ set from The Numero Group, followed by an autograph and photo line.
