Agree to it? I was asked to go on tour with you guys, and then I was asked to book it, which I did. Booking a tour is not easy, and I had to go through people who are not going to be happy about having their venues booked up and then flaked out on, because they're going to lose money. The SF Bay Guardian called me and did an interview to promote the show, they're not going to be happy about paying a freelancer to write an article that now can't be published. Booking in LA always sucks for me and I basically had to push people around to get us a show there, which will make it much more difficult for me to book in the future, especially considering you guys ended up flaking in the end.
I was ASKED to do this and I did it as a favor and because I thought it'd be fun, but now I'm out a plane ticket, I'm out two weeks of work and I fucked over my show contacts there which will make it much more difficult for me to book shows on the west coast in the future.
You guys were complete dicks to everyone when you came up to NY. You think it's all a cute joke, but it's not a cute joke to fuck over people who go out of their way to help you out. We are not glamorous hipsters. We don't have money falling from the sky or from our labels, or from MTV or Vice. We work hard for this shit and make a whole lot of sacrifices to earn the modest respect and success that we've gotten.
What's worse is you guys know me. You think me having a real evil hard ass streak is a joke? Just wait to see what happens to people who fuck me over. You will never laugh again in your pathetic little lives, I promise.
